Tom Brady’s Wajer 77, an upgrade from his previous Wajer 55S, is more than just a stylish dayboat—it’s a mini superyacht. With a length of 77 feet overall (23.5 meters), the Wajer 77 is the largest model produced by Wajer Yachts to date. She strikes a balance between a spacious dayboat and a compact superyacht, and is designed to be easily operated by the owner.

What’s In A Name?
The boat’s name, “Viva la Vida” is a tribute to Tom Brady’s ex-wife >Gisele Bundchen. It’s a Portuguese phrase that translates to “Live Life” and serves as the name for Gisele’s environmental organization. The primary focus of the organization is the preservation of forests and water resources, with a strong emphasis on Gisele’s native country of Brazil.

The legendary quarterback has kept both the boat and the boat’s name despite his recent divorce from the supermodel. In fact, he was spotted recently in May 2023, taking a cruise through Miami with his daughter, Vivian Lake. Let’s take a closer look at what makes this spectacular vessel such “a keeper.”
Exterior Design
The Wajer 77 boasts a striking exterior with flowing lines that are characteristic of Wajer’s design language. The hull features a narrow profile for enhanced performance, while the bow showcases a distinctive flare and the deck has a sleek tumblehome design. The exterior is meticulously crafted with integrated windows, a hidden anchor, flush cleats, and minimal handrails, giving it a clean and sculpted appearance.
Van Oossanen Naval Architects are the brains behind the hard-chine, high-performance aluminum hull, which cruises efficiently around 32 MPH range and can reach speeds of up 43 MPH (with the optional IPS 1350s – see below).
Interior Design And Layout

The interior of this beauty is a testament to both functionality and aesthetics. It was designed collaboratively by Wajer, Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design, and valuable input from Wajer clients. The goal was to maintain the distinctive Wajer DNA while introducing a fresh design language. The interior offers a light and summery ambiance, with high ceilings adding to the sense of openness. It features multifunctional seating, a fully functional galley, and practical storage for watersports equipment.

Owner Operated
One of the key aspects of the Wajer 77 is its owner-operated capability. The yacht is designed for ease of use, with a joystick control at the helm that allows for effortless operation. The helm seating is exceptionally comfortable, with electronically controlled seats and footrests that can be adjusted to fit the driver’s body. Thoughtful details like integrated cup holders and phone induction chargers add to the convenience and modernity of the yacht.

Power Options
The Wajer 77 offers various configurations, including different cabin layouts and power packages. She is powered by triple Volvo Penta IPS 1200 engines standard, but also has Volvo IPS 1350 as an option. Either option ensures impressive performance and a smooth ride. The yacht also features a range of additional options, such as a custom swim platform, stabilizers, a carbon fiber package, and various water toys.
Tom Brady’s affinity for Wajer Yachts was evident when he upgraded from the Wajer 55S to the Wajer 77. He expressed his admiration for the brand and his excitement about continuing his boating adventures on the larger vessel. The popularity of the Wajer 77 is evident, with numerous units already sold to European and American owners, destined for idyllic locations like the South of France, Ibiza, and Miami.
