Monaco Yacht Show: The Climax Of The Season
On September 27th, the world’s leading designers, boat builders, and architects will gather in the Principality for the most eagerly anticipated boat show in Europe. The finest boat builders among Europe will dock their latest pedigree models hoping to lure deep-pocketed boat buyers from all over the world.
Monaco is the ideal location to host an award-winning superyacht show since the Principality boasts more millionaires per proportion of the population than anywhere else in the world. Many prospective yacht buyers will be arriving by private helicopter or jet in style. A fleet of electric golf carts enable visitors to ride down around the docks of Port Hercule carbon-free (during peak hours).
The Monaco Yacht Show is about more than buying super yachts, the event will host thought-leadership talks on industry sustainability trends and will cover all aspects of chartering, buying, building and operating a superyacht. The MYS will continue its three-year development programme ‘Seducation,’, an initiative based on four pillars: environmental innovation, design, understanding of yachting, and visitor experience. Seduction is a continuous collaborative effort involving partners of the marine industry working together.
Highlights will include Feadship’s release of their latest spectacular Concept Design, Dunes which intelligent exterior design can significantly reduce a superyacht’s energy consumption, while harnessing wind and solar energy. Another feature not to miss is The Italian Sea Group new release of Tecnomar’s 142-foot powercat, “This Is It,”. Also, Lürssen will be exhibiting Phoenix 2 , superseding Kismet, which was allocated to the show before it was recently sold to its new owner.
