The countdown to the Monaco Yacht Show has begun. The world’s most prestigious shipyards will showcase their finest yachts and latest debuts. Visitors come to discover the latest key trends in the yachting lifestyle. MYS focuses on innovative yacht technology design and touches on key developments made within sustainability. Take a look at some of the most extraordinary superyachts being presented in this year’s show.

1. Carinthia VII

Lürssen and Fraser are co-presenting megayacht Carinthia VII, showcasing the results of her extensive refit at Lürssen’s Hamburg facilities, ready for her entry into the charter market. This six-deck royal blue megayacht is a classic Lürssen pedigree, and British designer Tim Heywood designed the exteriors. It has been freshly reinvigorated thanks to a recent renovation in 2023. A new glass-panel swimming pool crowns the main deck. There is a focus on wellness onboard, and she features a spa and wellness area, gym, jacuzzi, and a fresh juice bar.

Carinthia VII accommodates up to 14 guests onboard, split across two decks, and caters to up to 30 crew members. She is equipped with a jacuzzi on the ‘touch-and-go’ helipad on the bow and features garages to fit two large tenders and a wide range of water toys.

2. Kismet

Lürssen- built 312-footer KISMET tops our list as the most expensive yacht in the world. This award-winning superyacht features an exterior design by Espen Oeino and interiors by world-renowned Reymond Langton Design. I know what you are thinking, and I am too. The hull structure is reminiscent of a swordfish, with a long-pointed bow that extends for days.

Built under the supervision of the Moran yacht construction team, KISMET yacht was delivered by luxury yacht builder Lürssen in 2014. She is currently for sale with Moran Yacht and Ship and can accommodate 16 guests in 8 staterooms. The master stateroom features a private deck with a jacuzzi and access to the yacht’s helipad. The spacious sundeck features a swimming pool, spa, and a retractable outdoor fireplace. Other highlights include a sky lounge, a large sports bar, a beauty suite, a gym, a basketball court, a full suite of tenders and toys, and two helipads. And if you’re wondering why the basketball pitch, the yacht is owned by sports tycoon and football club owner Shahid Khan.

3. Alchemy

Alchemy stands for creating the perfect balance. She is Rossinavi-built with the Vitruvius hull is a collaboration with Philippe Briand, who worked to develop the yacht’s naval architecture. Meanwhile, Venice-based studio Enrico Gobbi – Team for Design helmed the yacht’s interior.  The interiors are modern and include a suspended staircase with glass steps in the main saloon, connecting the bridge to the upper deck, supported by two partitions of white Carrara marble. Just one of the many contemporary design features to whet you palette. There is over 3,500 square feet of deck space, large outdoor dining areas, sunpads and outdoor seating and multiple socializing areas, and a jacuzzi overlooking the ocean.

4. Savannah

Built by Feadship and delivered in 2015, Edmiston will exhibit Savannah. Launched by Feadship’s De Vries shipyard in 2015, it is the Dutch yard’s first ‘eco-friendly’ motor yacht. There is much more to Savannah than her extraordinarily efficient propulsion system. The Nemo lounge, an underwater lounge, is a game-changer, and the modular layout with glass panels, port, and starboard means that guests can enjoy viewing aquatic life or turn around to observe the fun and games in the 29-foot swimming pool. The lounge also converts into a cinema.

5. Leona

Referred to as “The Red Bullet,” characterized by her scarlett-red and white hull sporty hull, Leona is the sistership to Tatiana. Although the layout is almost identical, the reduced cabin numbers allow spacious accommodation. H2 Yacht Design was responsible for her interior design and was built by Bilgin Yacht in partnership with Antalya-based Unique Yacht Design.

Highlights include a private owner deck with the superstructure extended aft, providing a palatial owner suite with a private lounge and a private exterior pool. Interiors feature exotic prints and lavish, travel-inspired themes. One example is the Moroccan-inspired hookah room. Greek statues punctuate the pool edge and colored water into the blue patterned tile pool, and overhead is a fiber-optic ‘night sky’ star-filled ceiling that adds a touch of relaxation to the swimming area. The 263 series yachts are all built in compliance with IMOTier III certification and are considered the most environmentally friendly yachts in their class.
