Here is the opportunity to aquire a most impressive example of Fountains popular and classic design. The Fountain 35 Executioner was launched in 2002 as the alternative to the Lightning model. The «Exectioner» were intended for the real enthusiast who ephasize for the original Fountain look of the older boats and its name was brought back from Reggie Fountain’s very first model, the 10M Executioner, which was a game changer in the deep-V offshore powerboat market with its outstanding speed and seaworthyness. The 10M Executioner got a built-in swim platform in 1989, and was with such an integrated swim platform, incressed by about two foot of length, and became the 35 Lightning. A best seller for Fountain Powerboats for years and still considderd to be the best compromise of the fun of a small speedboat boat and yet with much of the needed length of a full size powerboat. Then in 1998, Fountain introdused a new style 35 foot model, which took the «35 Lightning» name, and this was a more modern, taller boat which also featured Fountain’s «Super Ventilated Positive Lift hull design», or another name of ventilated side steps. However, many boat buyers preferred the look of the old design. And Fountain continued to offer the old design under the model name «35 Lightning Classic» for a few years. Then this last version was offered, now also with a single side step as the «35 Executioner» as a hybrid still with the original classic design and yet with a modern stepped hull.  

Why this long indroduction, you say? Well, this very unique 35 Executioner has one major benefit over all other similar boats in the market. It has been refitted with modern Mercury Racing 520 engines, fitted with DTS (Digital Throttle & Shift / «drive by wire») and is technically TOP MODERN, yet still had the most classic design of any Fountain Powerboat. This combination was chosed (as a very «irrational» desicion when taking cost into considderation) to get a perfectly modern car-like operational and general ownership experience, plus with more speed than 80% of all the other 35 Executioners, since they usually were powered with 2x 425 hp. (which also was the case ofr this hull). To compliment the new engines, the whole boat has an updated spec with NEW interior, tailor made in Sweden, upgraded FUSION stereo system, new Bravo XR drives with «Short Sport Master» lower units, propellers etc. A great triple axle trailer is the tool you need to bring it to events and for general storage to further maximize the return in form of exceptional enjoyment of your «investment». To say it a bit differently; -you get the enjoyment while the previous owner took the bad investment…
