Description
The Yachting World review of the Hallberg-Rassy 46 was headed "Swedish Perfection" so it is safe to say her reputation goes before her, but as with much Scandinavian design, the component parts are simple, a product that does what it claims to do quickly, safely and efficiently whilst all the time retaining an elegance of line that keeps you looking back at your yacht with pride.
The yacht we are offering was delivered in 2003 to her current owner. She has spent most of her cruising life in the Channel area with occasional cruises as far south as Southern Portugal. This yacht is prepared for longer distance cruising with davits, genset, watermaker, etc. but like many of her contemporaries, the COVID-19 lockdowns spoiled her plans. The exceptional level of maintenance for this yacht means she is ready to circumnavigate the globe at short notice she also benefits from many practical and aesthetic enhancements, like new Alcantara upholstery and curtains, much of the deck gear is upgraded to stainless steel, including all deck hatches, ports, dorades and dorade boxes.
In all, this stunning example epitomises the Swedish Perfection title of her magazine review and any yachtsman looking for a world-girdling cruiser or an elegant sailing yacht for comfortable, coastal cruising would struggle to keep his eyes off her. Call Transworld Yachts for the opportunity to oggle this beauty!
