Description
“Boomerang" is a beautiful example of the timeless and classic Ted Hood/ Dieter Empacher designed Bristol 41.1. The rare aft cockpit model of the 41.1 exudes elegance whether under sail or just resting on her mooring. The aft cockpit offers extended outdoor living, including a surrounding coaming. Bristol Yachts of Rhode Island offered the very best in quality craftsmanship; building solid and beautiful yachts to withstand the tests of time; safely navigating any and all conditions she might encounter.
The 41.1 is the ideal definition of the Cruiser-Racer. Her medium displacement keel-centerboard design offers favorable wetted surface to displacement ratio. She has a fine entry for excellent upwind performance and has powerful aft sections for added stability and speed off the wind. Her skeg hung rudder and prop provide for excellent tracking on all points of sail and offer protection from flotsam or lobster tentacles.
The 41.1 is truly a yacht built for her owner to experience perfect harmony between sailor and the sea. And her solid build provides confidence and security that she will rise to meet the most challenging conditions. She is easily sailed by two.
“Boomerang” has had nothing but the very best care by her loving owners who have kept her stored indoors each and every winter with top notch maintenance at two of New England’s finest yards. She is guaranteed to impress all who step aboard and to elicit friendly waves of appreciation by all she passes on the sea.
