Description
AQUARIUS is a fine example of a Bristol 43.3 Center Cockpit, a yacht that dreams are made of. She is a classic Ted Hood design that has been impeccably maintained and comes with 31 years of detailed records. She is comfortable, sea kindly, and safe. With her centerboard up, her 4-foot-6-inch draft is a perfect fit for shallow waters. The owner stateroom has the highly desirable in-line, on-center island berth with private head and separate shower. AQUARIUS, with her Flag Blue hull and tan deck, is a luxurious head-turner. She has been continuously updated and is ready to take you wherever your heart desires.
As an example of her updates, in June 2025 a new transmission was installed and her rigging was professionally inspected. She was hauled out and the bottom painted in January 2025. Both alternators were replaced in 2024.
From the year 2021 through 2023, the following equipment was added or replaced.

Accommodations and Layout
Stepping down the companionway ladder, find a desirable split floor plan with the main salon, galley, and nav station separating two private staterooms, each with a private head. The forward cabin features a large V-berth with filler piece and hanging locker. A head with separate shower is adjacent aft to port with access from both the forward cabin and main salon.
The main salon includes an L-shaped settee to port that converts to a double berth. A straight settee to starboard also extends for sleeping and is equipped with a lee cloth. Both salon berths are excellent for sleeping at sea. A fixed teak dining table with large fold up leaves is on the centerline with storage for silverware and liquid refreshments. Numerous storage compartments below and behind the settee, and a hanging locker to starboard provide ample storage.
The galley is to starboard aft of the main salon. Create meals as if you were home with the three-burner propane stove with oven. A double stainless steel sink is on the centerline and drains well on either tack. Refrigeration is supplied by a Sea Frost engine-driven compressor for use at sea and a 110V compressor to use at the dock with shore power. A third of the refrigeration compartment is a freezer that will make ice. The other two-thirds is a refrigerator that is cooled by cold air from the freezer compartment. A small fan in the refrigerator side keeps the temperature even. Numerous drawers and lockers provide storage for food and dishware.
Aft to port in the main salon is the large, rear-facing navigation station. Engine access is easy with four separate access doors to the engine room. To starboard, a passage through the galley leads aft to the spacious owners cabin with a centerline queen berth and private head with a separate shower stall. Two hanging lockers, numerous drawers, and other storage spaces provide plenty of room for necessities aboard.
The interior is richly finished in varnished teak throughout the boat. Floorboards are solid teak and holly inlay with sufficient hatches to assess the water tanks and the entire bilge area. Numerous opening ports, hatches, and fans provide fresh air flow and comfort throughout the interior.
