Boat Details
Description
This classic Sam Morse cutter designed by Lyle Hess and made famous by Lin and Larry Pardey through their many books, is now available on the Gulf coast. Unlike Lin and Larry's version, Annie is a California factory built of fiberglass, has a newer (2008) 3GYM30 Yanmar diesel with only 900 hours, and though retains the classic looks, has all the modern conveniences you would expect from a modern cruiser, including Lorance GPS/chartplotter, back up Garmin GPS, electric windlass, ground tackle, and back up ground tackle, also a Fatty Knees tender (a classic in itself) Main, furling genoa, and new staysail, all LED lighting, Tiller pilot (auto Pilot) and Aries wind vane.
Illness and age has caused the necessity to sell, and owner needs to find another loving family to pick up the reins. Medical bills are over whelming and the seller offering the boat as is, where is, and is willing to look seriously at all offers. If you know these boats you know the average "sold" price is over $50K.
The boat is currently on the hard with charges to re-splash pre-paid. Illness struck just as the owner was finishing the replacement of the motor mounts, so they need the final turn of the wrench for her to be be ready for launch, and her next adventure started.
If you are a serious sailor, or want to be, you need to jump on this opportunity to own a classic of classics.
