Walkaround boats
Walkaround boats are a cross between center console boats and cuddy cabin boats. These vessels are typically used for fishing but due to their versatility are also used for other types of boating such as family day trips, pleasure cruising and short overnight trips.
How are Walkarounds built?
Walkarounds have a center console where the helm and steering controls are located. On either side of the console are walkable open passways making the entire perimeter of the boat fully accessible for either casting or handling lines. In front of the console, below deck, is a small cabin, that may contain 1-2 sleeping quarters and a small head, and possibly a compact galley. Above the cabin in the bow is typically either a casting area, storage container, or lounge seats. These vessels typically range is size from 18 - 35 feet.
