Azzam

Owner:
Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan
Value:
$605,000,000
Length:
591 ft
Capacity:
36 guests, 80 crew
Superyacht Azzam, currently owned by Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has a sleek shape that was designed with speed in mind. She reaches a very impressive 33 knots and hosts two diesel engines with enough power to cross the Atlantic without refueling. With a length of 180m, the designer, Nauta, cleverly ties all elements of this yacht into a compact and stylish design. The unique furniture onboard features intricate marquetry in mother of pearl for that opulent feel. The interior was designed by renowned French designer, Christophe Leoni. His sophisticated taste and design of the interior include luxurious décor inspired by the Empire style of the early 19th century.

Due to the speed at which the Azzam can travel, a lot of work was put into ensuring the noise and vibration levels are very low. The chandelier in the main salon has even been secured into position to stop any tinkling noises. The windows are floor to ceiling and there are no pillars in the saloon, so guests can enjoy a great view of any beautiful sunsets from the comfort of their seats inside.

The yacht can host up to 36 guests and 80 crew members. They will have access to the onboard gymnasium and swimming pool for fitness or pleasure. One unique feature of this yacht is the “golf training room,” where guests can safely practice their swing technique without losing any equipment overboard.

Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63

Owner:
Conor McGregor
Value:
$3,600,000
Length:
62 ft
Capacity:
4 guests
This yacht may be on the smaller side but that doesn’t mean it’s less impressive. Currently owned by UFC legend Conor McGregor, the Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63 has an estimated value of $3.6 million. This superyacht has twin motors, constructed in carbon fiber, making her lightweight but allowing her to reach a top speed of 69 miles per hour and 4,000 horsepower. Manufactured in partnership between Lamborghini and The Italian Sea Group, she was designed as a floating Lamborghini. The interior design resembles a rocket ship, which aligns with the high speed and its car counterpart. The decoration follows a theme of Y-shaped hexagons throughout the vessel and the boat even has a similar steering wheel, separate start and stop buttons, and “tail lights” that mimic a Lambo speeding away.

The yacht can accommodate 4 guests and reaches a whopping 63 knots maximum speed thanks to the twin V12 MAN engines. McGregor also has a larger luxury superyacht which has a larger selection of entertainment to keep guests interested. There is a sea pool and a jacuzzi to relax in, a giant inflatable slide, a floating golf green to practice those swings, and a jousting platform. There is also a stunning bar and lounge area.

However, McGregor has a real passion for his Lambo and admits it can go up to 75mph sideways. There may be fewer amenities, but that doesn’t mean he can’t have fun jumping the big waves in this impressive speed yacht.
