2023 X-Yachts Xc 5049ft

The Xc 50 is the largest in the dedicated range of Xcruising range and offers a wide range of custom options to allow owners to create an elegant personalised yacht. In the Summer of 2014, she went through a revamp following the rest of the Xc Range taking her through to the 'Next Generation'. This came about from practical experience and extensive feedback from our owners: 

• Optional teak on bulwarks, side decks and coachroofs as well as new optional hull and canvas colours
• Full LED lighting above/below decks
• New keels for improved stability
• Larger bathing platforms & extra cockpit locker storage
• Larger hull portlights
• Standard wheel s/s crashbars with option for integrating the throttle & thruster controls
• New interior styling, more open and more natural light, with new features improving comfort and functionality
• Galley redesigned with new furniture fittings such as automatic catches, larger bins and space for optional Microwave and Nespresso machines
• Nav station modified, saloon table enlarged, new styling on cushions, and cupboard/shelves have integrated bookcases with adjustable book brackets
• Owner’s cabin improved by integrating extra drawers below double berth and additional freeboard cupboards

• Built in sandwich construction with structural compressed foam
• Bi-directional E-glass strategically positioned for strength and weight optimization
• Solid laminate in high stress areas around keel, rudder and through hull fittings
• Outer surface layer of hull in white sprayed Gelcoat (RAL 9010 white) with 3 waterlines in NGA Gelcoat (RAL 7011 dark grey)
• Hull moulded in female moulds for highest quality surface finish
• Structural bulkhead in marine plywood varying in thickness from 16-30 mm
• Steel frame - hot-galvanized, high strength, laminated into hull to absorb all loads from keel, mast and rigging
• Prepared for single point hoist for easy and safe lifting and launching of yacht
• Bathing platform incorporated in transom port with electrical hoisting and lowering system
• Bathing ladder in stainless steel mounted onto bathing platform
• Continuous stainless steel rail protection mounted on sheerline

• First class craftsmanship characterizes the wooden interior with a minimum number of visible screws
• Pre-selected, top grade teak veneer used throughout the yacht in varnished and hand polished satin finish

Owner's cabin - CENTRAL BERTH

• Large double centre berth (200 x 160 cm) with curved laminated battens for improved ventilation and comfort
• Settee to starboard (95 x 38 cm)
• Double wardrobe (100 x 72 cm) to starboard with shelves and hangers
• Drawers below wardrobe on starboard (3 pcs)
• Freeboard cupboards and shelves above berth
• Storage space under owner's berth for bedding
• Floorboards with inspection hatch for good access to speed and depth transducers

MAIN SALOON

• Two seater central settee bench rounds off dining table arrangement
• To starboard: Long sofa (191 x 67 cm) where centre section of back rest can fold down to form a side table
• To starboard: Dedicated navigation table (64 x 104 cm) with amble space for charts, drawers underneath and nav seat. Positioned forward of the aft head
• Upper cabinets behind the U-shape sofa and armchairs provide storage for glasses, books etc.
• Electrical switch board located adjacent to nav seat and additional space for navigational and communication equipment

Saloon Head and Shower compartment

• Bulkheads covered with white laminate surfaces
• Marine toilet, manually flushed (1 pcs)
• Tabletop and wash basin in white GRP
• Mixer taps, single lever luxury for wash basin and shower
• Electrical pump for shower floor sump (1 pcs), automatic

• Main engine - Yanmar (4JH4) 110 HP turbo charged, freshwater cooled diesel engine mounted on rubber suspension on heavy GRP built engine bed. Extra 24V Alternator fitted on main engine for charging service

• 3-bladed Flex-O-Fold Propeller connected to the engine via a shaft made of high tensile corrosion resistant stainless steel, through stainless steel P-bracket and stern tube fitted with maintenance free drip free seal
• Special engine room sound insulation ensures low noise level
• Engine is easily accessible for service from front through the companionway and from side through aft cabin
• Engine control panel and throttle/gear lever placed in stb cockpit coaming.
• Engine control panel incorporates rpm
  meter, hour counter, acoustic alarm for oil pressure and cooling water temperature
• Tanks in aluminium for fuel (600 l) below saloon sole. VDO analogue level gauge, baffles, inspection hatches, separator incl. filter and shut-off valve and deck fill
• Alarm and warning light activated in cockpit when consumption tank needs refilling

• 24V DC system throughout the yacht
• X-Yachts main switch board with 27 automatic fuses and 3 analogue VDO meters
• 12V DC system for main engine installation
• 24V to 12V converter for electronics installation
• Combined deck and steaming light fitted
• All cabling terminates in “dry” GRP box fitted behind main electrical panel for added safety
• Service battery: AGM batteries (360 Ah @ 24V) are securely mounted under main cabin sofa (6 pcs)
• Start battery: Separate engine spiral-cell battery (55 Ah, 12V) mounted near main engine, services only main engine
• Shore power installation with 10 Amp shore power inlet socket mounted in cockpit. The 230V AC distribution box with ground fault circuit breaker and 230V AC socket mounted at nav station
• Combined Mastervolt charger inverter 24V/2000 W/60A including remote control unit, mounted incl. 4 x 220V sockets mounted one in galley, chart table, owner's cabin and owner's toilet.
• 24V halogen lights fitted for general purpose below deck throughout the cabins

• Silver anodized boom with single line reefing and internal boom outhaul with control on boom, telescopic vang and outer purchase block system

Standing Rigging

• Split backstay fitted with single Navtec 10 integral backstay adjuster on starboard side and turnbuckle on port
• Tip cups in stainless steel fitted to stainless steel tie rods (2 pcs)
• Discontinuous rod rigging throughout with rod turnbuckles
• Chain plates in stainless steel for forestay and split backstay (3 pcs)
