It is very rare for a Kadey-Krogen to come onto the brokerage market as new as this one. Current owner is looking to move up to a larger Krogen.
This boat has the popular one and a half head layout and is fully loaded with all the gear needed to go cruising. Extended Engine warranty have been purchased and are good through April of 2026. Drifter is located in Iuka, MS which is on the border of MS and TN.
Avoid the build time and go cruising now on a new boat and save yourself 15% off a new one.
PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHY COMING IN MID APRIL
Stepping aboard "Drifter" you quickly notice one of the major improvements in the AE series, a walk-through door leading into the signature feature of a Kadey-Krogen, a fully covered back porch. This yacht has three full size boarding doors in the cockpit (One through the transom and one each to port and starboard) as well as two boarding gates outside of the pilothouse doors for those higher docks. Entering the wide-body saloon is through a double opening, welded Diamond Seaglaze storm proof door.
You immediately notice what the optional wide-body does for interior volume, offering an additional 18" of saloon space. There are a number of custom features and additions added to the interior and storage.
The tasteful interior is custom Ultra-Leather on all seating surfaces done by Patty Downing Interiors.
The galley is extremely well thought out and features a propane Bluestar stove and oven as the center piece. The counter top material is highly durable Corian including a large and deep stainless steele sink. You will not a find a galley as well equipped for proper cooking aboard as you will on the Krogen 44 AE.
The Guest stateroom layout offers her owner's a retreat unlike the usual when not being used by guests. This stateroom allows for a "get away" place to have privacy to read, take a nap, or a place to watch some TV. GE Washer and Dryer are nicely built into this cabin. Settee will convert to double berth.
The owner's stateroom is all Kadey-Krogen, bright and roomy with superb ventilation provided by a large Lewmar Ocean Series hatch and opening portlights. Storage is plentiful and a signature feature, the master berth lifts on gas struts to reveal a very large storage locker under. This stateroom is a true delight at anchor, as the Kadey-Krogen hull form has no spray rail or chines to slap water against! Two hanging lockers and ample drawer storage add to the comfort of the owners stateroom.
The new pilothouse layout in the 44AE is superior to all other trawlers in her class. A full custom suite of Garmin Electronics is at the helm. Aft of the helm you will find a large settee that also converts to a double berth for additional guests. Easy access to the main electrically panels and ample storage in the PH.
