In new conditions Elling E6 Ultimate. The owner is sailing her for 16 months now.
This Elling E6 is built for an owner who had a lot of experience with Elling.
His first trip (after he sold his Beneteau Swift Trawler 42) was from Holland to the south of Spain with his Elling E4 Ultimate.
After 2 years and the introduction of the E6 he decided to upgrade but with the knowlegde of his trip to the MED.
They have almost made the same trip as with the E4, from Amsterdam with destination Spain to stay there for the winter.
In the spring they have continued their trip the Mallorca, France and they have entered Italy now.
True all the experiences from the owner and his knowledge from the past, he decided to spray the whole Elling E6 in AlexSeal. This means that the hull and deck, and all other components and parts are also sprayed.
The hull (which is a sandwich construction, so more isolated then a normal GRP hull) and the innerscale and also the dekhouse are completely isolated with AeroFlex.
An option of € 50.000,-. So this vessel is also suitable for use in
Scandinavie for example.
Dont mention anyhting about condensation because Gebo Thermic Line windows and Portholes with a heating element are installed to avoid any isolation. Yes, heating elements on the portholes!
No condensation on any aluminium porthole if the Kabola Central Heating brings the temperature up to 20 degrees while it is freezing outside. Waterfilled radiators in each cabin brings you the comfort from home.
The MED is no problem as well. Because the Webasto 50.000 BTU and fancoils in each cabin with a seperate control unit brings the remp down to 17 degrees.
The Whisper Power GenVerter system brings another plus tot his vessel. 8 Li-Ion batteries of each 160ah gives you a steady 24volt but it can do more!
The inverter which has a capacity of 14kW! gives all the consumers 220 volt without using the generator. You will have enoug power supply during the saling as the Volvo Penta D13-900 hp engine has a special alternator installed for the Li-Ion batteries. Oh, and dont worry if you want to cook without using shorepower or travelling, the generator starts automatically at a 30% powerlevel.
The shorepower is 32amps and the whisper power charger will charge your batteries with 150ah.
And thats not all, the charger is made to do something else as well. This charger accepts a powerinput between 90 and 250 volts!
Yes i hear you thinking, we dont have that in Europe, no that its true.
But the thoughts making that Atlantic Crossing without having any issues with your shore supply makes it a lot easier! (and yes, we did the test in the states, me personally)
And if you have any doubts with sailing in rough weather, well this owner is prepared. An upgrade from the hydraulic bow and sternthruster to 550KGF and 300 KGF which can be controlled proportionally is installed as well. A force 6/7 doesnt make any difference and to do some easy docking, a remote for the engine and the bow and stern are also included.
If you have left the dock and the waves are coming from the sides, or you need some stabilisation, well i hope you have switch on the Seakeeper 9 20 minutes before departure. She will give you a 75/80% rol reduction. Very comfy for longer distances.
