The Robalo R242 is the replacement for the iconic R240 and as such was subject to some highly skeptical and rigorous testing at her introduction. Without exception the reviews of this beautifully constructed and designed vessel have been nothing short of fantastic. This particular R242 is loaded with the highest quality options and has everything required for both hardcore fishing and/or family cruising for up to 12. The hideaway transom bench seat easily holds up to three adults and the large forward seating area includes a convertible filler to create a large sunpad or with upholstery removed, a large forward casting platform.
Her twin Yamaha 200's feature Yamaha's electronic controls and full featured digital information screen. The optional T Top with a robust fiberglass hardtop includes Taco outriggers, and electronics box with a Simrad VHF, LED lighting and speakers for the high-end Clarion stereo. The dual Simrad EVO2 plotters are fed by a structure scan transducer.
There are three live wells onboard...one aft, one midships and one at the bow as well as a roomy fishbox. Abundant lighting throughout the vessel includes two of these live wells as well as a high-powered spreader light. A roomy head compartment with portlight features a full featured Vacuflush head with both holding tank and pump out. Both fresh and saltwater washdowns are available as is a freshwater shower.
