This 2017 Bruce Roberts 54 Center Cockpit Ketch, Keana, is in like-new condition with a gorgeous interior down below, a Yanmar Diesel with 100 Hours, new Electronics and much more! Keana was launched new in 2019. Bob Perry has designed the ketch rig, which hasn't been made yet, and the boat is sitting in Port Townsend perfectly situated to get the rig and sails made by local professional marine tradespeople then launch and head for the horizon of your choice, on a very capable, like-new, blue-water vessel!

She just needs her masts and sails constructed! 

Keana has a great layout on deck and down below. On deck she has wide side decks with outboard mounted stainless steel chain plates and stainless steel life-line stanchions with two rows of life-lines. The fore-deck is expansive and solid with a large bow compartment for storage and provides easy access to the chain locker. The fully-cushioned cockpit is large and very comfortable. The Edson Steering Pedestal has all the controls necessary to operate the vessel in one place including Bow Thruster, Windlass Control, Engine Controls, Rudder Indicator and B&G Instruments. There is also a large Lazarette Storage Locker on the aft deck with lots of room for storage.  

Going down-below through the Cockpit Companionway takes you into a well-lit, large Salon. A Large L-Shaped Dinette is to port and the Navigation Station is to starboard as well as vertical drawers for storage. Going forward from the Galley takes you down a few steps to a Sea Berth to starboard and to the Forward Head to port. The Forward Head has an Electric Flush Toilet, separate Shower Stall, lots of storage and a Combination Washer and Dryer Unit. Going forward takes you to an enormous, fully-cushioned, V-Berth with lots of storage and an overhead opening hatch. Light switches are installed throughout the vessel to operate overhead LED lighting.

Going aft from the Salon takes you immediately into a well-laid out Galley with lots of storage in cubbies and cabinets and includes a Stainless Steel Sink with Hot and Cold Pressure Water, a 3-Burner Propane Stove and Oven and a Vertical Refrigerator and Freezer. Going aft from the Galley takes you into the Aft Head with a Private Head and Shower Stall area (The Head has been removed to be replaced with a Composting Toilet, not yet purchased, or leave open, next owner can decide).  There is a Sink with Hot and Cold Pressure Water in the Breezeway to the Aft Cabin. The Aft Cabin is gorgeous and hosts a walk around Queen Bed, lots of storage and an overhead opening Scuttle Hatch and ladder.

The Engine Room is accessed either from the Galley or from a door in the Salon, great access and lots of room!

Keana was designed by renowned and prolific designer Bruce Roberts from Australia. Keana was built by Keith Livingstone who was an ABYC Member and successfully earned Electrical, Marine Diesel Engine and Corrosion Certifications. Keith and his wife purchased the hull in 2009 to finish. The boat was launched in 2019.

The Hull is built of C-Flex which is a type of fiberglass planking that was created by and is still sold by Seeman Composite Inc., since the 1970’s. Keana has been cruised by her current owners as a power boat. They were just beginning their work to build the rig and sails then had a job opportunity come up that’s taking them overseas. They are the 4th owners. Everyone that’s been involved with Keana has done incredible work in making her a very capable and very comfortable blue-water cruiser. She just needs her rig and her sails and she’ll be ready for any ocean!
