Equinox NZ was conceived as a fast passage-making, luxurious short-handed cruiser.

Built of carbon, and only fully completed in 2016, she is a sea kindly light weight flyer, the record of 4 days 19 hours NZ - Fiji speaks for itself.

The owner broke the 20 knot barrier in force 7, double reefed main and 5 rolls in the jib. The helmsmen all commented on how effortless it was sliding down 4.5 metre seas.

Under power she sits at 8.5 knots at 1800 rpm and 9.5 plus knots at 2200 rpm, both these are under the cruising rev range. 

This is an extraordinary yacht. The owners receive avid interest and compliments wherever they go.

Designed as an extremely quick, short-handed sailing yacht. Very capable of winning fully crewed blue water events over the line.
