'Ripples' an ELECTRIC / DIESEL HYBRID 51' Narrowboat built by Kingsground in 2012.
A light and modern Narrowboat presented in great condition throughout. ‘Ripples’ is designed in a forward layout; this vessel offers twin single berths aft that can convert into a double berth, a walkthrough bathroom, a well-equipped galley boasting Corian worktops throughout, the saloon is found forward with free standing arm chairs with an adaptable dining area, as well as port and starboard bench seating that can also be converted too form a double berth when required.
Powered by an economical Hybrid Beta 43hp engine. Central heating is provided by a Webasto diesel fired system. Hot water is supplied by the central heating, engine calorifier or immersion when connected to shore power. 240V & 12V electrics on board.
Fitted with a Bow Thruster for enhanced maneuverability. Blacked in October 2019, BSS valid to June 2024.

Powered by a fantastic Beta ELECTRIC / DIESEL HYBRID 43hp engine. The Beta 43 engines are fitted with a single motor/generator which provides 10kW of electric propulsion and when in generation mode 6kW of power capability.
HYBRID
By using a Hybrid Electric Motor/Generator in combination with the traditional diesel engine allows superb versatility and usability, whilst delivering efficient DC/AC electrical power together with a reduction in installation footprint, cost, fuel consumption, emissions, and noise.
Control Box & Control Panels - The electric motor/generator is also connected to a master control box managed by a push button controller complete with display panel.
The stern deck features an adjustable helms seat for comfortable cruising. Point of entry is via central stern doors which leads into a modern, light, and airy cabin. The masters cabin features two singles berths that can be converted to form an across width double berth, high level storage and LED reading lights. Two good size wardrobes. The impressive battery bank is located alongside the aft wardrobe.
The walk-through bathroom is surprisingly spacious for a Narrowboat, utilising all of the space available. A large shower cubicle with clever towel storage alongside. A pump out toilet is positioned to starboard. The hand basin with Corian work surface and stainless-steel mixer tap with storage and shaver point below is located to port.
Located midships is a striking galley boasting eye-catching blue Corian work tops. A Baumatic induction hob, grill, and oven. Fridge with ice box, microwave, ample storage cupboards with pull out larder. A great galley with ample of work surfaces to show off those boating recipes!
The saloon is found forward with space for two free standing armchairs, a collapsible dining area with side hatch allowing lots of natural light in, port and starboard seating with push release storage draws below and high-level cupboards above with LED reading lights. A flat screen TV, perfect for some light evening entertainment. The saloon bench seating can convert into an additional double berth when required.
The bow features a cratch board with full cover, seating/storage lockers to facilitate al fresco dining!
The 240V system on board simply plugs in to the shoreline providing power to the stainless-steel sockets throughout the boat. When cruising a Victron Energy 5000W inverter/charger ensures you are never without power.
A Webasto air blown central heating system is supplied on board with air ducts throughout cabin; providing plenty of heat on board, perfect for all year round cruising. A timer is supplied on board allowing the heating system to be set to different timings for every day of the week! The calorifier is connected to the engine circuit providing heat for hot water when running. A immersion water heater is also fitted when connected to shore power.
