This Robert Perry designed, Tayana 37, is the most successful of the many Taiwan-built double-ended full-keel cruisers. Tayana's have a reputation of being an excellent offshore boat and is one of the more popular bluewater cruisers built.
JOHN B is being sold by it's original owners. The boat is located in Monterey, California. As you walk up to the boat, you will immediately notice the pride in ownership. ACCOMODATIONS
All the way forward there is a v-berth with a privacy door, hanging lockers, drawers under berth, teak ceiling hull sides, hanging locker w/ shelf over, shelf surrounds berth, anchor locker access forward. Next aft to starboard is a drawer bureau with fiddled shelf above. Aft of V-berth to port is the head with a Dometic Vacuuflush head, and separate walk in shower.
Moving aft is the spacious salon with flawless upholstery with with hullside drawers behind the settee all finished in teak. Aft end of the settee is used as the nav station seat. Port side is a U-shaped seating surrounding a teak table. Three hullside storage lockers behind the settee.
The Galley is U shaped providing safety while at sea. There is a double stainless steel sink, microwave, three burner propane Force 10 Stove.
On the starboard side is quarter berth. Double hanging locker.
Underneath the companionway stairs is the Yanmar 55 HP engine.
