The Blackwater Motor Yachts Sports Fisher 35 is a versatile and practical sports fisher, combining comfortable cruising accommodation with excellent performance and exterior deck space, all in a proven and highly capable John Bennett hull design. Boudicca is a desirable flybridge version, fitted with the excellent Yamaha 245 diesel engines on twin sterndrives for economy and performance, all just comprehensively overhauled and serviced, and she is believed to be the highest spec of any built. Her impressive inventory includes comprehensive navigation equipment, a bow thruster, electric capstan winch, diesel heating, hot water, and more. The Blackwater Motor Yachts Sport Fisher 35 layout has a large double berth forward and has excellent headroom.
FORECABIN - Fitted with an island double berth with two hanging lockers, shelves, portlights, LCD TV, and an opening hatch to the foredeck.
HEADS - Separate heads compartment to port with marine toilet, washbasin, shower, cupboards, and an opening portlight.
GALLEY - The U-shaped galley offers excellent working space and is equipped with a Smev stainless steel 2-burner gas hob, separate Smev gas oven and grill, 12v fridge, sink, and storage in a range of cupboards, drawers, and shelves.
WHEELHOUSE SALOON - The saloon is laid out with a helm position to starboard which offers excellent visibility and a very comfortable arrangement for longer passage making in poor conditions. To port is a settee with a removable adjustable position table, this could be used as an occasional small single berth if required. Excellent natural light and ventilation with large opening side windows. Good storage in a selection of cupboards and beneath the saloon floor.
GENERAL EQUIPMENT - Pressurised hot and cold water supplied throughout via a calorifier with immersion coil. Webasto diesel fired warm air heating system. Cream upholstery throughout with complimenting curtains and fitted carpets (new 2022). LCD TV with and Fusion marine stereo system.
EXTERIOR - The large aft cockpit is ideal for fishing trips or for using with paddle boards, kayaks, and other watersports equipment. There is a large lazarette / hold forward, numerous fitted lockeres, a deckwash, and walk-through stern access to the bathing platform. Generous decks with stainless steel grabrails provide safe access to and from the foredeck, and a stainless steel ladder leads up to the flybridge. The flybridge has a helm position with bucket seat, controls, and navigation equipment, with a useful area aft for further seating.
Located under the cockpit sole in a large engine compartment, twin Yamaha ME422 six cylinder 245hp turbo diesel engines. Freshwater cooled via heat exchangers. Twin Yamaha sterndrives with stainless steel dual-propellers. Twin lever controls with electric start at both helms. Twin 390L aluminium fuel tanks. Vetus bowthruster with joystick controls at both helms.
The engines and outdrive legs appear to have been well maintained and had a comprehensive overhaul including refurbished outdrive legs and full service including all engine timing belts, ancillary belts, impellers, filters, fluids, gaiters, gimbal bearings, and various other service items in Spring 2022. They have run for 909hrs since new equating to an ideal average usage of approx. 75hrs per season. Although Yamaha are better known for their outboard engines, the ME422 is based on the well-proven and extremely tough Toyota six-cylinder engine, and they are well established and highly regarded in the commercial marine world.
3 x Heavy duty 12v batteries (2 x engine, and domestic new 2022) charged via engine alternators. Battery isolator switches with emergency linking facility. Shorepower system with ring mains, immersion coil for water heating, and 15a battery charger. Electrical distribution panel. Full cabin lighting.
