A wonderful opportunity to acquire a vessel that is in pristine condition for its year and type and one that has been exceptionally well maintained. Dyvlin is the much preferred owner's version with the single aft cabin and the large heads unit incorporating a separate shower room. Central heating is by Webasto and the vessel has a full cockpit tent with windows and zipped access points, both tent and spray hood are virtually new and a spare older, but still useable, tent is also provided .
The standing rigging was all renewed in the spring of 2022.
Dyvlin has cruised extensively around Scotland and the Scottish isles during the summer months and is currently secure on a marina berth within Whitehaven harbour.
“Dyvlin” is well constructed to a conventional glass fibre system having two prime mouldings bonded together to form the house, deck and hull structure. The hull structure is further strengthened by a inner moulding adhered to the main hull structure. The lay is thick and, with the addition of the inner moulding of frames, floors, transverse units and modules, forms an extremely strong and semi-rigid unit. I believe the hull to be of solid grp laminates, the deck module is of sandwich construction utilising end grain balsa as the filler.
The internals are laid out to the owner's version with double berth within the starboard quarter and heads located within the port quarter. The forward double berth cabin is separated from the saloon by the main structural transverse bulkhead, aft of the saloon on the starboard side is the galley with the navigation area opposite to port.
Auxiliary power is by a Yanmar 3YM30 three cylinder marine diesel engine delivering 28 shaft horse power via a traditional shaft drive with a volvo drip free stern gland. The engine has been well maintained and regularly serviced.
Steering is by wheel through to the fully balanced spade rudder, the drive is a Lewmar Constellation system with quadrant and wire drive.
Dyvlin is equipped with a furling genoa and an in mast furling mainsail. Both sails are the originals but are said to be in good condition.
Running rigging is all in good condition.
All standing rigging was replaced in spring of 2022.
