Priced to sell as owner is keen to sell.
This Hallberg Rassy 54 is a beautifully built blue water cruiser, with all Hallberg Rassy's hallmarks, like style, sturdiness, comfort, and fine woodwork. This boat has all the amenities you will need for a long trip, such as a generator and watermaker. The fixed sprayhood and deep-safe cockpit will protect you well against all elements. Due to her hydraulic furling systems plus her push-button controls, she is also easy to sail single-handed or as a couple.
She is located in Malta, please contact us for further information or to arrange a visit onboard.
Hallberg-Rassy 54 is one of the most elegant models from the Hallberg-Rassy yard to hit the water.
Hallberg-Rassy 54 replaced the successful Hallberg-Rassy 53 in 2006. Hallberg-Rassy 54 is based on a more modern hull-shape, yielding both a longer waterline and as a result higher speed through the water as well as more volume down below. The design also includes a deeper rudder, and the design overall clearly signals” more sailing”. This gives the owner a higher turn of speed, both adding to the sheer joy of sailing as well as faster passage times.
Down below you will find everything one desires on a yacht this size, and more! A superbly planned layout as you expect from Hallberg-Rassy. The floor is on one level throughout the boat, there is ample elbow-room as well as standing head-room throughout. There are superb cabins, a great galley, a nav-station worthy an ocean-going yacht, a walk-in engine room as a benefit of the center cockpit design, and a spacious saloon including the famous Rassy arm-chairs.
The aft owner’s cabin is spacious with a centre-line berth, en-suite bathroom, a separate work-desk, and plenty of storage pretty much everywhere. There is a dedicated paper chart locker. In another locker there is a built in minisafe. Inside the shower for the aft cabin the watermaker control is located. The watermaker capacity is 150 litres per hour. Another benefit is the total privacy within the aft cabin. In front of the mast there is another cabin with two bunk beds, perfect for crew or family. In front of this cabin there is a more traditional fore-peak. In the area in front of the mast there is also a large second bathroom, also serving as the day head and including a washing machine.
The interior in this Hallberg-Rassy 54 is in teak rather than the standard mahogany. Absolutely stunning. The list of equipment is enormous and setup for serious and comfortable cruising. With the generous tankage added to the complete list of equipment, you can easily spend long times, covering long distances aboard without the need to make port. Great for trips both near and far.
Thanks to the Hallberg-Rassy concept of “push-button sailing”, with hydraulic sail handling and electrical winches, the yacht is easily handled by one person when underway. A Volvo Penta D4-180 coupled with a bow-thruster makes maneuvering simple and safe. Additionally, the two-geared Gori-propeller gives both great maneuvering as well as added range using the propeller’s second gear under way in calmer waters.
