As of May 2023, the best interest rates for yacht loans typically start around 7.49%. These rates fluctuate with market conditions, inflation, and supply and demand. Borrowers with the highest credit scores and strongest overall financial profiles usually get the best yacht loan rates. The higher your credit score, the lower your interest rate will be. The best yacht interest rates are reserved for the most well qualified borrowers. A well qualified borrower will have an excellent credit score, a history of on-time payments, provable income, consistent employment history, and no recent bankruptcies or foreclosures.
This two owner 24FS has been kept in continual “Bristol” fashion since new. The boat was ordered from Regulator without the standard Ashley Marine T-Top (with unsightly V cross members and low hanging electronics box). Instead, a custom top was built by Marine Metal Fabricators of RI. The same went with the leaning post. Instead of the factory post-installed, a leaning post was built by Birdsall Marine in FL that incorporates space for a cooler underneath the seating. The T-Top boasts a custom painted flagpole and at the bow, a socket was installed to install the custom painted burgee staff. Her service records are incredible. Up until the summer of 2022, this boat was maintained in heated indoor storage with Hinckley Yacht Services in Portsmouth, RI. She spent the summer of 2022 on the Pawcatuck River in Westerly, Rhode Island and has been maintained and stored at Frank Hall Boat Yard.
Her bottom is perfection with the highest-end ablative paints used every other year. Her hull was painted by Hinckley two years ago in Awlgrip Flag Blue including beautiful Awlgrip red and white boot stripes. Then a clear coat was sprayed over the Flag Blue, red, and white for an even finish, durability, and ease of touch-ups down the road. The Yamaha engine cowlings were removed at the same time and the Correct Yamaha grey was sprayed and then finished off with correct Yamaha vinyl graphics. The exterior white gel-coat surfaces look new with a deep shine and no oxidation. Winter 2021 / 2022 Hinckley removed the T-top and repainted (with Signal White Awlgrip) the T-top frame, the fiberglass T-top, radar dome, rocket launchers, custom flagpole and even the door frame to below. The custom three-sided Isinglass enclosure was replaced as well. The detail work of the custom enclosure even includes suede leather stitched around the areas of the T-top frame. All vinyl cushions and coaming pads were replaced recently as well (please note there are no forward bow cushions).
This is not a boat that was in poor condition that was “brought back up”. This boat has always been kept at this extremely high level of care. The service records are just impeccable. She received the counter balancer recall very early in life. For summers that she was used quite a bit, not only were fluids, filters, and zincs changed but complete water pumps. T-Stats, plugs, internal pencil zincs, etc. The belts and belt tensioners were replaced a few years back and in the fall of 2021 the fuel lines were replaced; the high-pressure VS internal fuel filters were replaced, and the injectors were sent out for reconditioning. She runs strong, quiet, and incredibly well. The first owner even bought spare Yamaha S.S. Reliance Series props in a different pitch so the boat could offer even more top-end performance. These hard-to-find US-made props are installed on the boat and there is another set of props included with the sale as well. The first owner replaced the Regulator switching panel at the helm a few years back because the original was getting faded. He replaced the binnacle tilt switches this summer because they were getting a “little faded”. Inside every locker and hatch still has the same shine from when the boat was built.
