James Keay, an award-winning designer, designed the Cruisecat multihull vessel back in 2003 on the Sunshine Coast. Since then it has been in production for both the charter and domestic arena, and is still currently utilised in service throughout Australia. The company's efforts have remained focused on building quality products that are Australian-made.
Cruisecat is synonymous with high performance, practicality and endurance and is leading the way with its contemporary yet classic exterior, spacious interior, versatile and comfortable galley and dining area with spectacular views from all angles. The innovative layout and use of space on the interior and the exterior provides an unprecedented level of comfort for cruising. Cruisecat is cost effective to buy, serious value for money and has an exceptional proven resale value to the client.
"The powercat has been built to allow for diversity where you can design your Cruisecat with higher hulls and modify design layout all to suit the buyer's requirements. The versatility of the Cruisecat is what makes it really stand out in its class. " says Mr Keay
The Cruisecat would have to be one of the most comfortable and spacious multihulls on the market. With its high tunnel clearance and incredible stability, you are guaranteed a soft dry ride in choppy conditions. Large fuel and water capacity make long range cruising or having a group of friends stay on board a breeze.
The vessel is powered by twin Suzuki DF200AP series four
stroke petrol outboard engines mounted on Powerlift PL-65-10
aluminium fabricated jacking plates on the transom of each
hull. Engine serial numbers are 20003P-810362 (port) and
20003P-810364 and operating hours are shown as 70 on each
engine. Stainless steel propellers are fitted and are in above
average condition. Zinc saucer anodes are affixed to the
jacking plates for galvanic protection and remain in average
condition with minimal wastage. The outboard drives lift clear
of the water when not in use.
