Boat had very little use over the first 15 years after arriving in Vancouver. The current owner engaged a number of marine professionals to bring the boat back into current and dependable operating condition. The result is quite impressive as the boat is almost like new and shows very little wear for it's age.
1) Hull, deck and house have been painted with LP paint and are in very good condition.
2) Windows were removed and re-bedded. Lower windscreen windows were replaced with new windows. Interior window trim finishes ongoing.
3) Engines and generator gone over by Steveston Diesel. Starboard Engine - Valve adjustment, full fluids flush, replace all serviceable impellers, belts, filters. Rebuild injectors. Gear fluid and filter changed.
Port Engine - New rings and cylinder sleeves due to sitting and moisture causing rings to seize. Similar to Starboard engine - valve adjustment, full fluids flush, replace all serviceable impellers, belts, filters. Rebuild injectors. Gear fluid and filter changed.
4) Batteries replaced with new AGM type batteries.
5) Wiring and hoses examined carefully. Most systems are very well marked (original factory permanent tags) and easily traced.
6) New diesel forced air furnace installed with heat distribution to enclosed command bridge helm, salon and forward cabins.
7) Propeller shafts, propellers and couplers all removed for service. New cutlass bearings installed, new PYI dripless shaft seals installed, shafts and props balanced and trued.
