2003 Custom Carolina Center Console31ft

Wayne Grice has been building boats for most of his life in Fayetteville, NC utilizing the same proven, strong but lightweight cold molded construction techniques popular among custom builders, This 31' CC is constructed using Okume and Fir with 3 layers of 1/4" on her bottom and two layers of 3/8"on her sides covered with fiberglass cloth and saturated with West System epoxy. Her hull sides and interior spaces are faired and finished.

This particular model was originally designed with a forward cuddy. Present owner brought the boat to Stuart, FL  and engaged some of the top boat building talent in the area to modify the cabin into a true open bow Center Console. Numerous improvements were made along the way in terms of functionality and storage. The hull was faired and painted with Alexseal at Willis Marine.  It didn't stop there.

New Furuno electronics, Fusion stereo, wiring, engine motor mounts, fuel lines, cosmetic enhancements in the form of custom Sea Dek applications, Teak deck, swim platform, LED and underwater lighting were all added. The majority of the refit was completed between 2009 and 2011. A perfect boat to sit on a lift behind the house in S. Florida or the Keys although the road-ready triple-axle Ameratrail trailer can help you take her wherever you want to go.  .

This boat cruises effortlessly at 27 kts. achieving almost two miles to the gallon providing in excess of a 500 NM range. She is truly unique and turn key in every way.
