Hand-laid Knytex fiberglass construction with closed-cell PVC sandwich core used in
topsides. Solid fiberglass below waterline with blister-resistant vinylester resin utilized on
first, two laminates below the waterline.
Superstructure includes end-grain balsa core and Knytex surface mats for print-through
reduction.
Teak aft and side decks. Boat and fore decks have GripTex non-skid finish. Bulwark has
molded plank lines with gelcoat finish.
Polyurethane formulate marine sealants used at hull-to-deck, boat deck joints and exterior
fittings.
Marine-grade plywood bulkheads with molded fiberglass hat section stringers.
Teak veneer walls and cabinetry with stain varnish.
The salon is entered through a single door off the large covered back deck. Opening windows to port and starboard as well as an opening window on the aft bulkhead create a light and airy space. Custom cordless cellular shades on the windows and aft door provide privacy when desired and help create a homey feel. To starboard is a comfortable L- shaped dinette with teak table that seats 4 people comfortably. To port is a built-in settee. Both seating areas have ample storage under them.
The U-shaped galley is forward of the saloon and to the starboard. There is a large round opening port over the stove and under cabinet lighting to keep it bright and airy. There is ample storage in number drawers and cabinets. To port is a combination desk/shelving/pantry area. Notable features are:
The Master Stateroom is down a spiral staircase from the pilothouse. There is access to the stand up engine room at the bottom of this staircase. It features a centerline queen bed. A built-in dresser is at the foot of the bed and a large mirror is mounted over it. There is ample storage in drawers under the foot of the bed and two hanging lockers as well as a cavernous storage space under the bed. An overhead hatch and 4 opening ports keep the room bright and airy.
The Master head is located at the bottom of the staircase outside of the master stateroom. It features a large stall shower, sink with Corian counter and a Marine Elegance toilet (new 4/2023).
The pilothouse is up 4 steps from the galley. At the top of the landing to the port is a Splendide washer/dryer combo in a custom cabinet. With excellent visibilty and room the pilot house is the ideal space both under way and at anchor or at dock. A large settee/watch berth is the perfect place to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning or relax in the evening. The step up to the settee has storage under it. The settee also pulls out to a double berth for overnight guests. A fold up director's chair serves as the helm chair when under way but can easily be stowed when not needed. The pilothouse features fiberglass and teak pilothouse doors that can be opened to catch a breeze or dogged down when the weather gets rough. Additional features include:
