1988 Custom Royalsea 23
This Royalsea 23 is a great boat for exploring your local bay.
A Fun Fact! - was originally custom built for William Schwartz (of Spice fame) in 1988. This is the 3rd owner and in 2012 was stripped of the the original Merc Inboard/Outboard motor and drive and upgraded the boat’s electrical, instrument, steering system, etc., etc. The owner had a transom bracket fabricated for the boat by Armstrong Nautical Products in Florida and installed a 150 HP Evinrude outboard motor. There is currently approximately 250 hours on the main motor. The boat also has a 9.9 HP Mercury kicker engine (currently less than 50 hours on it). Luke Porter of Shoreside Services did the fiberglass work during the rebuild. While The owner has owned the boat, it has always been stored inside over the winter months at Sunset Marine. These folks did the rebuild and have looked after annual maintenance and any required repairs on the boat.

There is one manual head with Y-value for overboard discharge, sink.
The galley features a single stainless steel sink, alcohol stove with 2 burners. 1 water tank.
The interior appointments include blue upholstery, blue carpet, carpet headliner and fiberglass cabin sole.
Engines & Electrical
Evinrude E-Tech 150 HP gas outboard with 250 hours. The curising speed is 13 knots @ 2250 RPM for a maximum of 27 knots @ 5100 RPM. The fuel tank is aluminum and hold 140 litres. The fuel consumption is 12 liters an hour while cruising. Power tilt trim, oil/water/temp alarm, trim tabs. Racor Fuel filter in transom. Hydraulic steering assist.
