1986 Koopmans 16.50Beautiful Koopmans 16.50 sailing yacht built in steel hull with aluminum deck and superstructure. Yacht architect Dick Koopmans sr. is one of the most well-known and experienced Dutch yacht architects and certainly needs no introduction to experienced sailors. His designs excel in seaworthiness and are therefore popular with departures, among others. The boat we are offering you on behalf of the 2nd owner is a high quality yacht built as a true offshore sailing yacht for the discerning sailor. This is reflected in, among other things, the deep keel, the heavy deck equipment and the fixed aluminum spray hood. It is an ideal comfortable departure boat, partly thanks to the beautiful practical interior. The boat has more than proven itself on numerous long ocean voyages.
The interior is certainly as beautiful as the exterior. Amidships is the saloon and here you will again find many examples of the great craftsmanship. To starboard is the practical galley. To port is the chart table. In the stern is the owner's cabin with also a large double bed with en-suite a spacious wet room with shower and toilet. In the forepeak is a cabin with a total of 4 beds. Entirely in the bow is a 2nd wet cell with, among other things, a washing machine. The engine room is large and the engine is easily accessible for service all around.
For those looking for a good sailing, perfectly maintained and luxuriously equipped quality yacht, this Koopmans 16.50 is an absolute must see.
