For over 50 years, Grand Banks (American Marine) has been producing some of the finest coastal cruising yachts around. They can be found in harbors the world over. The 49 Classic is the embodiment of the breed and an ideal yacht for our Pacific Northwest cruising grounds, unparalleled among seasoned skippers who are looking for a sturdy economical and dependable cruising yacht for our inland and coastal waters. The venerable tri-cabin layout offers the perfect floor plan for the cruising couple with guests or children. The 360-degree view from the large salon windows provide the skipper with excellent visibility and flood Dream Catcher's spacious interior with warm light. Other Grand Banks trademark design elements include easy walk-around decks with high sturdy bulwarks topped with stout stanchions and handrails, along with plentiful well-placed stainless handholds around the house, enabling safe, secure passage about the boat by the crew. There is a roomy cockpit section with ample storage in the lazarette beneath. The aft cabin supports the dinghy on the starboard side. Inside, her practical layout, sturdy construction and extensive list of equipment make her a comfortable and economical cruising yacht.
Dream Catcher has cruised from Portland to Prince William Sound and everywhere in between! She has had many upgrades since joining the NW Explorations Charter fleet and has proven to be a sought-after member of the fleet. She has been maintained to NWE's exacting standards and is ready for the 2023 charter season should her new owner desire to keep her in the fleet. So come take a look and learn about the income from her charters.
Dream Catcher is currently owned in an LLC which could provide certain tax benefits to the new owner.
Dream Catcher welcomes you aboard by way of the traditional Grand Banks side gates or from the extended swim-step via the transom gate. She boasts the traditional GB 49 Classic three-stateroom layout with two heads that provide roomy stateroom accommodations for six. The interior offers the warmth of hand-crafted teak cabinetry, richly-upholstered furniture and parquet flooring for which Grand Banks yachts are renown.
The Guest Staterooms are forward with their own head & shower. The forward stateroom fully forward is unusually large and sports great headroom. The midship guest stateroom features two single berths.
Up to the main deck, the well-equipped lower helm station is to starboard with the L-galley opposite to port. The large salon follows with an elegant L-settee to starboard with dining table and bright and airy windows that provide great visibility.
The Master Stateroom is down and fully aft, featuring an island queen-size berth, bookshelfs, a desk, plenty of storage including a hanging locker and an en-suite head with Masterflush electric macerating head and separate shower.
Up from the main deck is the flybridge, with comfortable seating for crew and passengers with storage underneath each. Forward is the helm console with a full complement of instruments including navigation, communications, and engine controls.
The galley is located along the port side of the salon, opposite the lower helm station and provides generous storage and meal preparation area for the cruising chef.
Dream Catcher's helm stations offer reliable, updated and functional navigational electronics.
