1985 Bertram 33 Flybridge Cruiser33ft

The Bertram 33 Flybridge Cruiser (not to be confused with the Bertram 33 Sport Fisherman built during the same time period) is a versatile pocket convertible for fishing, cruising, and entertaining. Built on the same solid fiberglass hull as the 33 Sport Fisherman, the 33 Flybridge Cruiser has a taller profile and larger interior than her sistership, but a smaller cockpit. Originally offered with a single stateroom layout with the galley forward to port in the salon, a more popular two-stateroom interior with an in-line galley to starboard in the salon became standard in 1980. A lower helm was optional, and most were sold with a swim platform and bow pulpit. In 1981 the flybridge was updated (the helm console was moved aft to allow bench seating forward), and in 1984 a teak interior replaced the original wood grain mica cabinets. The Bertram 33 II version introduced in 1988 has a restyled flybridge, and light oak woodwork replaced the teak cabinets and trim. Fuel capacity was increased for gas models in 1980, and a stall shower became standard in 1992. Twin 340hp gas engines cruise at 18 knots.
