A Note from the Seller
My wife and I have thoroughly enjoyed this boat for the past 2 years.
We have spent many hours cleaning, polishing, sanding, varnishing, painting, drinking & sweating to make her what she is today. A beautiful, comfortable, affordable & economical entertaining vessel.
We purchased this boat while locked in Rio Dulce, Guatemala, where we were visiting on our SN Blessed when COVID hit. Five years on the sailboat and out of the country, we both decided that we wanted to see more of the good ol' USA.
So, we completed "The Great Loop" this year, 7,000 trouble free miles and a fantastic time. We met many "Loopers", made great friends and if we had a nickel for every time this boat was complimented, well the piggy bank would be full. Loi
We have made some changes to make her more self-sustaining with a 1250 Watt Solar Array that also covers the lower deck giving much relief on those especially hot & sunny days. The structure also has 2 rod holders, for those of you who love to fish.
We have totally revarnished the exterior teak and have painted the exterior house, decks and she just had a new bottom job.
The fly bridge is where we mostly hang out. There is booth seating where we share our morning coffee (and additional seating) with a beautiful sunrise. Then at days close, a strong cocktail and those awesome sunsets. It's also great for entertaining and the view from there while underway is breathtaking. The kitchen is quite functional for those like my wife, who love to cook, bake and entertain. It features a 2-burner glass electric cooktop, also a nice microwave and a Power XL Air Fryer, a Panini sandwich maker and an upright refrigerator. A table with seating for four, not only for breaking bread but hosting game nights!
The V-berth and its head have been used as my garage, lol!
So, we have left paint, solvents, caulking, marine wood, misc. parts etc. ... for the boat.
We did, however, have guests for a week once while in NY. My wife put everything in the closet and made up the beds and it was reported back, quite comfortable.
Overall, Sea Trek is a proven vessel! Sure, she could use some work (after all, it's a boat) on the interior teak but is very livable and comfortable. We hope the next owners love her as much as we do.
For us, it's time to go home and be grandparents.
Fair winds & following seas!
