She has a reliable and economical inboard Perkins, deck stepped aluminium spars and a comprehensive sail wardrobe to suit all conditions.
6-Berth accommodation with L-Shaped galley and large heads with shower.
Vessel is powered by a reliable and economical Perkins 4108 inboard diesel engine. The engine is in excellent condition and is situated directly below the companionway. Fully removable, sound proofed engine box allows all round access for servicing and preventative maintenance.
Recent work has included engine removal for check over, new engine mounts, bilge painting, gearbox rebuilt, fuel tank cleaned, new day tank installed, new fuel hoses and fuel cut off valve, new alternator, starter motor check and new exhaust hose installed.
Stainless steel shaft driving a 3 bladed fixed, bronze propeller. Single lever engine control mounted in cockpit.
12/240V onboard system with new engine start battery battery leads and terminals to heavy duty rotary switch. Space for 2x12V domestic bank (currently not installed). Onboard there are 3-pin sockets for use with shore power. Recent 12/240V switch panel with individually fused rocker switch selectors.
Bermudan sloop rig with anodised aluminium deck stepped spars. Standing rigging was replaced in 2017 including new tangs, through bolts and compression tubes. When the mast was off the mast wiring was all replaced and a new VHF aerial installed. New masthead Tricolour with LED bulb.
Braid on braid running rigging replaced on an ongoing basis. Variety of winches including Lewmar 40 genoa sheet winches and Gibbs halyard winches. Vessel rigged for spinnaker including all associated halyards and two poles. Spinnaker track mounted on mast.
Comprehensive suit of sails including slab reefing mainsail, spare mainsail, No1 jib, No2 Jib and storm sail.
Well equipped boat cable of serious offshore sailing. Current inventory reflects coastal use. Included in sale are:
The vessel can comfortable sleep 6 adults over the forward cabin and spacious saloon. There is full standing headroom throughout with plentiful storage space for long range cruising. Being a steel boat she has plenty of insulation which minimises condensation. Her interior woodwork is a combination of solid teak pieces and veneered marine ply.
The galley is to starboard and features a gas fuelled Bainbridge Neptune 4500 with 2-burner hob, oven and grill. Stainless steel double sink with both pressurised and hand pumped fresh water. Lots of storage solutions for both provisions and utensils/crockery.
Opposite the galley is a large chart table/Navigation area. This is forward facing and situated at the end of a large pilkot berth.
One step down from here is the saloon. Large U-shaped seating area to starboard with dining table. This drops down to make a very comfortable double berth. Behind this is shelved storage currently used for sailing/navigation books.
Opposite the seating area on the port side is a small 2-seater settee with a raised pilot/quarter berth above. This will be the bunk of choice as it is adjacent to the solid fuel Shipmate stove. The chimney exits at deck level.
Between the saloon and the forward cabin is a corridor. To starboard is the heads with blakes baby marine head, sink with pressurised fresh water and shower with pump out. All the taps, water pipes, plumbing hoses were replaced when the new holding tank was installed. The heads also makes an ideal wet locker for storing and drying wet weather gear after a demanding passage.
Opposite the heads is a large storage cupboard/wardrobe with storage area above. In the bow is the forepeak cabin which can be converted to a double by the addition of an infill cushion. There is further shelved and locker storage. Below bunk storage with easy front access.
The yacht was built by Croft marine Productions in partnership with Robert Tucker Designs. This was the brainchild of Tony Tucker, son of the famous Robert Tucker who brought us many designs but notably the Corribee, Silhouette and Newbridge Navigator.
Built in 4mm high tensile steel she has a round bilge hull shape, flush decks and a very comfortable cockpit with teak topped inner coamings and removable teak seating boards.
The underwater profile is a traditional full keel with shallow forefoot. The steel has been coated with layers of epoxy and finally copper coat. There is a steel grated bowsprit with built in double anchor rollers and a self bailing open anchor well forward. Around the decks is a 3 inch scupper with drainage. Solid teak rubrail set off from the hull for added protection. Topsides are currently painted in a smart navy blue whilst the decks are an attractive cream.
Stainless steel bow and stern rails joined by a series of stainless steel stanchions with double set of uncoated wires. There are numerous deck hatches which along with the coacroof saloon windows have all been removed and resealed. Teak handrails mounted either side of coachroof for safety.
