1980 Gulfstar Sloop44ft

Valhalla II is a 1980 Sloop Rigged, Center Cockpit, Gulfstar 44. The post 1978 Gulfstar 44 is reported to be, “One of the Best Deigns Ever” -Richard Jordan of Jordan Yacht and Ship. A former Hylas skipper, John Kretschmer, is reported to have said that; “the Gulfstar 44 is a better design than the Hylas 44”.
Valhalla’s bottom was painted this summer in Pass Christian, MS and she subsequently set sail for Pensacola, FL. She is currently undergoing repairs and updates as time and weather permit, but she is available “as-is” if you wish.
If you are looking for a Sail-away ready, Blue-water, classic, cruiser, you’ll have to wait until her owner and crew have completed her repairs and updates.
If, however, you want to own a classic cruising sailboat updated and outfitted to your specifications, that may be an option for you.
