While her owner history is unknown Wavelength appears to be an always-fresh-water sailed Ericson 36. Her decks seem solid under the weight of two 180 pound brokers and there is no noticeable crazing. The decks are tan nonskid on white. The non-skid is still effective. The white topsides are in good condition, some (non-structural) damage to rubrail; anti-fouling on bottom appears to be VC-17 and in smooth condition; keel-hull joint very good.
The boat has been club raced, daysailed and cruised on Lake Michigan. Generally stored outside without cover. Engine maintenance & winterising by Crowleys. Indiana title. steel cradle included. New Universal diesel engine 2012; apprx 50 eng hrs per year.
Standard Ron Holland Ericson 36 belowdecks: galley aft to port, sit-down nav station to stb, settees and pilot berths amidships; head to starboard and hanging locker opposite to port, vee berth forward. Marine head with holding tank. Interior cushions cloth; the teak and holly cabin sole was removed and replaced with rough plywood flooring. The fresh water system has not been utilized; alcohol fueled cooking stove/oven.
Belt-drive autopilot on steering wheel in large tee-shaped cockpit, mainsheet traveler on bridgedeck at companionway. Danforth compass, KVH electronics; VHF ship-to-shore radio and Raymarine GPS. Two marine Batteries apprx 3 years old. 100 volt shore power.
Two anchors with anchor chain and rode; cockpit cushions, dodger & bimini, docklines & fenders, double spreader rig, running rigging (halyards and sheets) all in very good shape, quadruple rope clutches at companionway port & stbd; hydraulic backstay adjuster, rod vang, Harken furling, spinnaker gear, Harken mainsheet traveler, 9 Barient winches, two headsail halyards, main halyard, one mainsail, several jibs and genoas and spinnakers, inboard adjustable genoa/jib cars. Martec folding prop.
