The Westsail 28 is an extremely sea-worthy, comfortable and efficient blue water cruiser. Tuaq has recently undergone $100k+ of investment with the current owner as they re-powered, re-rigged, re-finished, re-wired, and re-systemed the boat and they worked with some of Port Townsend finest tradespeople for the work done like Brion Toss Yacht Rigging, Stephen’s Marine, Anchor Canvas/Sea Marine, Electrical by Chris Dunn, Finishing by Diane Salguero and Bottom Work by Starboard Marine Services. The current owners unfortunately are moving out of State for personal reasons and must sell.

Tuaq has a great layout above decks and below. The cockpit is roomy, the side decks are wide for a 28’ foot sailboat and the boat is easy and functional to move fore and aft for sail tending etc. All bright work is gorgeous, professionally done and canvas covered for protection.

Going below there is a Navigation Station immediately to port and a Quarter Berth aft. The Galley is forward of the Nav Station and has lots of Storage, a Double Stainless Steel Sink with Hot and Cold Pressure Water and room for an LPG Gimbaling Stove/Oven, the Diesel Stove has been removed in preparation for the next owners to add the Stove. The Salon hosts a U-shaped Settee and lots of storage. The Dinette Table is currently getting refurbished and will be back aboard soon. Going forward of the Salon and Galley there is a large double door Hanging Locker to port and a Private Head to starboard that has a new Electric Head. All the way forward is the Main Cabin that has a V-Berth and lots of storage. There are opening ports and hatches throughout the vessel.

These boats sail incredibly well and are go-anywhere vessels. Tuaq has had an incredible investment by the current owners since they purchased her two years ago and is in excellent condition and ready to go sailing!
