1979 Soverel
A Performance Sailboat, 126 PHRF, she is a wide bodied boat, faster than a J-30 & includes 6 Genoas, 3 Spinnakers, Diesel w/ folding prop. Excellent club racer. Incredible sailing boat! We have been doing lots of "squaring away" on this boat: Stiffening of stanchion bases, reworking of aft berth support, completed blister repair (photos to prove). THIS IS A VALUE!!
Out of the water now, we have completed a full Epoxy Blister repair job with the West System & in the over 30 years of executing blister repair jobs we rarely have reoccurrence. Please see photos showing work and finish effort. Currently she has the first coat of BALTO PLATE. Before she is launched she will have 2 more coats and will be wet sanded to a high level of finish. As we complete the effort the price will advance. Next we are going to refinish the sides in "FIRE ENGINE" RED Imron. She will reach out and grab you. Can not wait to see the results.
Will sell for only 13,900, if you want to purchase the boat before we paint the sides RED ! ! !
To add to the improvement list, we have recently refinished the teak toerail by sanding it down to NEW WOOD and installing 3 coats of Cetol. Next we are about to cut new LEXAN hatchboard. Going to be something !!
Update: as of this writing we have stiffened the stanchion bases from the interior side with fiberglass plates as the resulting increase in security will attest. All of this is getting this Soverel towards very "desirable condition".

Reworked, Replaced Items
- Underbody has NO blisters; had light blistering. Repaired with West System filler and block sanded true and then had 7 coats of Epoxy with Barrier additive installe - - in over 30 years of this proceedure we have rarely had blisters repaired in this method reocurr.
- One coat of Balto Plate currently - - two more before delivery
