1979 Tall Rig, Trunk Cabin competitive racer/cruiser

Over the past 7 years, this boat was meticulously and wonderfully refitted and refreshed by her owners.  See notes on work from the current owner:

In 2015 we overhauled and reassembled the boat:  

• The main cabin deck was cut out, re-cored and reinstalled from inside the cabin.  
• All of the deck hardware was redrilled, sealed and reinstalled.  
• Inside the cabin, we install new LED overhead lighting, an automatic bilge pump and a new head.   
• We also installed a removable vinyl ceiling trimmed out with new teak trim and brass screws.  
• The cabin sidewall teak veneer around the windows was completely replaced with new teak veneer.   
• All the interior teak was sanded down and oiled.  
• All of the exterior wood was sanded, sealed and varnished.  
• All new B&G electronics were wired and installed, including the mast and 2 displays in the cockpit area.  
• New battery tender installed along with 2 marine batteries (Batteries replaced in 2021).  
• All new halyards installed for Main, Jib, Port/Starboard Spinnaker.  
• New tie-down lines, spring lines and bumpers.
• All new interior cushions were professionally made for the cabin using medium density quick dry marine-grade upholstery foam and Coastguard Marine Fabric (outdoor solution-dyed acrylic canvas). New custom pedestal cover made in matching outdoor fabric.

In 2017:

• Custom, vented boat cover for winter storage made by ShipShape Canvas. Cover upgraded with 11oz Top Gun fabric.

In 2019:

• The rudder was removed, drilled, dried, resined, reglassed, shaped and barrier coated (Pettit Protect Barrier Epoxy paint)

In 2021, the Engine was overhauled:

•  Engine block removed, flushed out, all water ports sanded and opened, and new seals installed.  
• Exhaust system was completely removed, rebuilt and installed, including a custom exhaust / water exchanger.
