Betty Lou is a retired UTB- 41 Coast Guard Utility Boat used exclusively for rescue, towing and patrols. A workhorse of a vessel designed to operate under moderate weather and sea conditions where speed and maneuverability were crucial.
An incredibly stable vessel built to last consisting of raked stem, vee forward with hard chimes aft, flush foredeck, raised cabin with inside helm, open aft-deck and a square transom. All welded aluminum hull with aluminum bulkheads, a fiberglass cabin thru bolted to the deck, aluminum deck covered with non-skid.
Betty Lou has been remodeled into a family recreation boat.
A hard top was added to aft cockpit with settee seating.
Cabin house has been painted and a windlass added.
All 16 Fuel Injectors from the Diesel Cummings Engines have been refurbished.
