Owner's Note:
Since acquiring 'Southwind' from her original owners in 1996, we have worked to improve this beautiful vessel in big and small ways every year. From cleaning and re-painting the bilges to re-painting the entire boat, we have followed a regimen of listing and prioritizing the work/repairs/improvements to be undertaken in the current year and then completing the work as time allowed. We started by completing every item listed on the original survey's 'Findings and Recommendations' list while building and executing our own “Upgrades and Improvements” list. And now, after the last 3 year make-over, She is ready for her next 25 years of enjoyment.
It has been a labor of love to maintain and improve “Southwind” over the past 25 years. All work has been done to professional standards, by working and retired professionals, as I was a Marina/Boat Yard owner for the past 30 plus years.
She is now ready to continue giving back the love that She has received.
This great yacht is in superior condition to when we adopted her and should need only normal maintenance and upkeep to see her through her next 25 years.
She now needs a new Caretaker to adopt Her and add their own personal touches. At the asking price (1/10th of replacement cost), you would not even be paying for the restoration costs. And, getting the rest of the boat for free.
