Description
"Outrider" is a 45 ft Sportfisher built in 1969 by Aluminum Marine of Newport Beach, Ca. The 100 year hull was built using 3/4" 1084 marine grade aluminum. This was the lead boat of a design intended to operate at 24 knots in all sea conditions. What was discovered that due to cost of construction additional boats were not possible. As this was the lead boat, much attention was directed to the HYDRO DRIVE System as well as the custom mahogany and teak interior.
This vessel has been converted over the years to the ultimate Mexican "Condo on the Water". Living aboard can only be described as "EASY" with its oversized fully functioning gallery, big living area, and the transition from indoor to outdoor living to the oversized 16' X 16' aft patio with its 5' sliding glass door and same level access.
Much effort has been spent making certain all live aboard systems have been upgraded, such as a Dec. 2022 bottom painting as well as the addition of all new batteries.
This vessel is 'move in ready' with all amenities down to a coffee maker and convection oven. Life aboard this Mexican 'Condo on the Water' will be as easy as bringing your own clothes and personal items.

- One fuel tank integral to the hull with a capacity of 850 gallons. Water tanks 300 gallons.
- 2 A/C units 5K B.T.U. each just completely serviced.
- New water heater.
- Onan generator just rebuilt.
- Steering system just completely serviced.
- In early Dec 2022 Outrider had the bottom prepped, primed, and painted, and the cooling system water valves refurbished.
- In early Dec 2022, both sets of batteries have been replaced. Port 12VDC, Stbd 32VDC
- Fuel burn rate for engines is 3.5 GPH per engine at 8 knots, 1200 RPM
- Northern Lights generator, 6 KW
- While total usage has been limited, as this is a Condo on the Water, both turbos and starters have been replaced.
- Both battery charges have been replaced.
- New manual engine controls have been installed.
- Galley; new freezer compressor installed Dec 2022.
- Newer Garmin GPS installed 2019
- Outrider has been mechanically maintained to keep this vessel able to visit the anchorages in the surrounding area.
