Despite the strong emotional bond (the boat has been in the family for 48 years!) it has been decided to pass the helm of Golondrina to a new owner who intends to carry out the necessary renovation work, the most important of which are:
the rebuilding of the deck,
the planksheer and wash board
replacement of the chainplates
shrouds and stays
regeneration of the engine
repainting if you want to bring it back totally to new.
A new group of classic racing yachts has just been founded , the ONE TON CLASSIC ( One tonner RORC boats designed / built between 1965-1970) and Golondrina is a very important, fast, beutiful iconic example
