New arrival to Bay Yachts! The Cal 40 Viva was built in 1965 by Jensen Marine in Southern California. She has been upgraded including re-glassed hull and more come take a look she is ready to sail.
The previous owner and his co-workers at Svendsen's Boat Yard stripped off the outer 3 layers of fiberglass from the hull and re-glassed the hull, including the hull and deck joint, with 3 layers of glass using West System epoxy. They faired the keel and keel/hull area in the process and replaced the original bronze prop shaft log with a G10 tube
