Designed by Sidney DeWolf Herreshoff and built by Cape Cod Shipbuilding.
VESTA is a full keel traditional sailboat with the classic Herreshoff bow and transom design. Hull number 10.
She was built using the best materials including a lead keel and bronze keelbolts and bronze bolts joining the hull to the topsides.
Her hull was painted by Concordia yard in 2000. She carries a bowsprit which holds the anchor roller, mooring chocks and roller furler. She has single lifelines, headroom is 6'2" in raised cabin area tapering down to about 5'10" forward. Bunks are about 6'2" as are cockpit seats. Mahognay coamings, hand rails, bowsprit and toe rails.
