Construction
"Cock Robin" was built at Dauntless Shipyard in Essex Ct. Double planked 3/8" yellow pine (inner). 1" mahogony on steam bent and laminated oak frames on 10" centers. Deck beams are sawn oak. Deck is 1 1/4" teak covered with new 1/2" teak in 2002. Cabin sides and cabin top are sawn mahogony. Cabin top has glass over. Cabin sole is 3'4" Douglas fir w/ 3/8" Brazilian cherry overlay done in 2002. The interior overhead is painted white with open beams. King plank is 10" X 2" teak. When the masts were upgraded to aluminum in the mid '80's, steel straps were added athwartship forward of the mainmast to beef up the ribs.
Accommodations
Aft double berth to port and an aft quarter berth to starboard of the companionway ladder. There is a double berth forward. Just forward on the starboard side is a wet locker and a navigation desk. Opposite is an enclosed head with ean integral shower. Moving forward to the main salon, an "L" shaped settee, a centered drop leaf dining table with two small portable stools are to port with a settee to starboard. The main salon also has a newly installed but unconnected Dickinson Newport diesel heater. The engine compartment is centrally located under the galley counter. The "U" shaped galley is between the dining area and the engine compartment on the port side. Opposite is the refrigerator and freezer. Going forward there are hanging lockers on both sides. The forward stateroom has a double berth to port with organized line storage to starboard. The sail and ground tackle storage is in the forepeak. The interior sole is new; Brazilian cherry over 3/4" Douglas fir. The head room is about 6'
Galley
The galley is a chef's delight with generous countertop areas, more than adequate draws and shelving, and a built in wine rack. Handing stain glass cabinet over the galley.

Electrical
Navigation station panel was rewired in 2002 w/new ac/dc breakers and a selector switch for an AC Gen set if acquired. All lights are 12v w/4 strategically placed 110 VAC outlets which can operate on house batteries via a Trace 1.5 kw inverter/charger. Battery banks have parallel switch while two alternators provide 105amp and 75 amp charging capacity.

Ground Tackle & Deck Equipment
Custom bow roller w/60# Bruce anchor and 12v Maxwell windlass. A 65# and 45# Danforth anchors are stored on cabintop. The Bruce has 300' chain and 300' rode. The Danforth's share 50'/chain/250'/rode. All new higher stanchions and pulpits fore and aft. Offshore ss frame and canvas dodger; 4 bronze dorade vents; 4 large hatches. Canvas awning covers deck/cabintop from main to mizzen. Two ss rod holders and a custom propane tank holder for the BBQ are attached to the stern pulpit. Two electric and two manual bilge pumps.
Sails & Rigging
Yawl rig w/keel stepped painted aluminum masts, boomkin, internal halyards, running backs, Reckmann roller furled jib, realease fitting for staysail stay, wire rigging (about 10 yo), spinnaker pole and reaching strut stored in chocks on deck.
