Purpose of the Questionnaire

This questionnaire is designed to assist you in finding the boat that is best suited to your needs and desires. It asks questions about you and others who will use the boat, where you will sail, and what boat characteristics are most important and pleasing to you. Your responses to these questions can be related to specific boat characteristics; and this process, in turn, can yield a profile of the generic boat type most likely to satisfy your needs.

The process of completing Boat Quest will help you evaluate your boat search and redefine your priorities. In addition, this information can help us create a profile of the boat best suited to your needs.

For the beginning sailor, the results will provide a direction to help steer you in your search. For the experienced sailor, they will provide an opportunity for you to reflect on your sailing style and to reassess your attitudes and opinions.

Instructions:

Our goal is to assist boaters in their efforts to buy and sell. Everyone can find value in using this questionnaire.

If you are searching for a boat, we invite you to print Boat Quest, answer the questions and mail the results to us. We will review your answers and provide consultation to help determine the boat best suited to your needs. We can then provide specific recommendations gleaned from various sources available to us. Remember to include your name, telephone number, address and e-mail address.

If you have a boat to sell, we would be glad to represent your vessel, as appropriate to those persons using this questionnaire and to our clients who respond to our national advertising. Please call for further explanation.

So, just answer the questions and pay attention to your responses. Enjoy the experience.
