SHOULD YOU CONSIDER PURCHASING DIRECT?
If you feel comfortable being your own "dealer", and buying your yacht at a discount price, we would really enjoy working with you in a direct purchase relationship. Over the years we have met and stayed in contact with many great cruising friends who have purchased from us directly.
You can arrange shipping of your yacht or, as many owners do, start your world cruise from Hong Kong. The funds saved will support cruising expenses for several years. Your first leg, 3 to 4 days, will be to Subic Bay Yacht Club in the Philippines where you arrive as a full member. We have a warranty station there.
A deposit of 30% plus, 100% of selected options, is required upon signing the contract. Two additional 30% payments are due at certain stages of construction plus a 10% acceptance payment upon delivery, after the owner and/or his surveyor has inspected the vessel.
All vessels must be paid for in full before being shipped. Letters of Credit are a real problem these days; however, they can be used if needed to meet your lender's requirements. Your contract can include design changes to accommodate your special cruising needs but we would like to avoid extensive modifications during construction.
