Sea Ray 410 Sundancer Video Walkthrough Review

Join Ryan McVinney with YachtWorld and Dave Berardinelli from MarineMax in Boston for a full walkthrough of a 2015 Sea Ray 410 Sundancer cabin cruiser. A stylish sport yacht with sleek lines and a two-stateroom layout, this is a great boat for leisure cruising with friends and family. Featuring a comfortable cockpit with a beautiful teak wood deck throughout, her big U-shaped seating in the rear opens to a large sunpad for lounging in the sun.

On Deck

On the aft deck is a prep station, freshwater sink, factory option BBQ grill and mini refrigerator. The boat has A/C and heat pumping throughout to keep passengers comfortable in any weather hot or cold. A port side lounger and sunroof add to the luxury in the main cockpit.

At The Helm

The Sea Ray 410’s helm has a premium, double-wide seat with bolsters and the model we toured was equipped with joystick controls making her very easy to handle. Powered by two 375-bhp Cummins QSB 5.9-380 Zeus pod powerplants, her propulsion system eliminates the need for shafts, struts, and rudders, offering several major-league advantages over traditional inboard power. With this setup she cruises easily at 23-24 knots and tops out around 31.5 knots. She is very efficient at cruising speed, averaging a fuel burn of around 1 mile per gallon.

A full electronics package by Raymarine package features an all-in-one GPS, radar, fish finder and chart plotter combo with a 15-inch touchscreen. Of course, she comes with a premium marine stereo to enjoy the tunes out on the water. One big selling feature of this boat is her fully enclosed control station with a nice big windshield that offers great visibility.

In The Cabin

Down below in the cabin she has a compact yet cozy and well-adorned salon with a starboard side couch, settee table, flatscreen TV. Also in the main salon is a full featured galley with beautiful corian counter tops, two burner stove, microwave, sink and storage.

The forward master stateroom has a full size berth with a motorized, push-button expandable bed. The master head has a full size shower. Her aft cabin has a pullout couch for a nice sized guest sleeping berth and a port side day/guest head with smaller shower.

Sea Ray’s 410 Sundancer yacht is a solid performer with a sensible layout that is perfect for cruising and is a blast to drive.
