If luxury fishing is your thing, the new 305 LXF from Scout might be your bag! Hop onboard this great new center console boat for a full walkthrough video boat review with Marilyn DeMartini and Andy Renne from Seven Seas Marine in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, who show us some of the key features of this vessel.
Touted as the only 30-footer in its class with a console berth down below by Scout, the 305 LXF is a boat designed with comfort, style and performance in mind. Plus, she is really well-setup for fishing too – with two livewells, in-deck fishboxes, rod holders, rocket launchers, and more.
Performance
The boat has a length overall of 30’4″ and a 9’10” beam, along with a 212-gallon fuel capacity and an 800-horsepower max rating, giving her a fully yacht-certified status allowing her to accommodate family and friends for great long days out on the water cruising, entertaining and even fishing. With brand new Mercury 300-horsepower, outboard, 8-cylinder naturally aspirated engines this boat is ready for the big time.
Cockpit And Galley
Some key highlights are her “fully-walkable” transom swim platform (great if you have a floating dock), a side-boarding dive door, a removable bow table and six-speaker premium sound system. The transom door gives you easy access to the water, the engines and an integral dive ladder as well. A summer kitchen makes it easy and convenient to clean up the fish and ideal for day picnicking.
At The Helm
There is great visibility at the helm. Equipped with a Garmin 8612 display with acrylic bezel and a patented anchor camera in the bow that is viewable from the helm, she is truly a joy to drive.
Bow Area
The Bow area has comfortable seating plus a “queen seat” with incorporated dry storage compartment underneath accessible via the cushioned on gas struts.
