    • Nordhavn 40-44 was built in Southern California by Pacific Seacraft.
      She has the proven Nordhavn dry stack exhaust system and gravity feed fuel system, producing a reliable engine system.

    • ACCOMMODATIONS:
      NORDIC CURRENTS has the standard Nordhavn 40 layout with teak joinery throughout.

    • SALON:
      Enter the salon through a Diamond/Seaglaze door.
      Mosquito screen for door (installed spring 2015)
      There is a dinette settee and table to starboard and seating to port.
      A lot of storage space is provided underneath the seating.
      Diamond/Seaglaze opening windows with insect screens in salon.
      Carpet on sole
      Air conditioner and heating
      The galley has light Corian countertops, and is to port at the forward end of the
      salon. The galley also has two portholes for good ventilation.
      Forward are steps up to the pilothouse and down to the passageway access to the head and sleeping cabins.
      The head, with separate stall shower is to starboard, and the guest stateroom is to port. Engine room access is through the guest cabin, as well there is a mechanics hatch in the salon.
      At the forward end of the passageway is the master stateroom with a centerline
      double bed, and a lot of stowage space organized in hanging, overhead lockers port and starboard, underneath the double bed.
      The engine room of the Nordhavn 40 is spacious and systems are organized.

      1 hour w. 1? propeller shaft and folding propeller. Isolated wing engine fuel tank ?
      10-gallon tank is independent from the main fuel system.
      Two (2) ea. 460 US gallon fiberglass fuel tanks (920 gals. total). Each tank has a sight gauge and a manhole size access port in the top.
      A supply tank is gravity fed through fuel lines from the main tanks. All systems
      requiring diesel fuel are fed from this tank. The bottom of the supply tank has a
      water sensor and alarm. There is a water drain fitting at the low point in the tank.
      Dry stack exhaust with keel cooler eliminates raw water pump and raw water
      contact with the main engine.
      Main engine fuel system with Duplex Pre-Filter/Water Separator Racor 900 filter.
      Fuel transfer system with fuel transfer pump, Walbro and in-line Racor 900 filter.
      Generator fuel supply with Pre Filter/Water Separator Racor 220 spin on series.
      Reverso oil-changing system ? plumbed to main and generator engines
