The Corsair 31 is a true performance cruiser. It
features comfortable accommodations for 4 adults, a spacious cockpit,
"acres" of deck space and 6' standing headroom below. The
performance oriented sailplan provides the experienced sailor with
exhilarating performance yet is manageable enough that the boat can
easily be handled by virtually anyone.
TRINITY is a fast, trailerable trimaran built
by Corsair Marine using the Farrier Folding Strut system. She is a
blast to sail and can reach speeds in excess of 20 knots.
The exclusive Omohundro mast is a beautifully finished carbon fiber
rotating wing section that is two and a half feet taller than the
standard F31, yet lighter for a more powerful and responsive feel.
Calvert kevlar and carbon fiber main, blade jib, and screecher were
purchased in 2012 and the lightly used spinnaker is in excellent
condition. New Dynex Dux synthetic shrouds were also added in 2013.
The trampolines and bow nets are in excellent condition. This vessel
has been professionally maintained and upgraded each year. New
cushions from Sperry Loft offer 5 inches of plush comfort in the
V-berth and four inches in the main cabin bunk. A private enclosed
head is appreciated by the ladies. When the breeze kicks up, Harken
batten cars, full length battens, and lazy jacks make slab reefing the
efficient square top mainsail easy and safe to do from the cockpit .
Profurl roller furling for the jib and a Harken roller furling system
for the screecher, along with the Raytheon ST2000 autohelm make
singlehanded sailing enjoyable for an experienced sailor. Launch and
retrieval take a couple hours. The Pacific galvanized dual axle
trailer is included and was recently professionally refurbished. If
you appreciate high performance sailing and don't mind high speeds,
then you will love being at the helm of Trinity.
All cushions, sails, electronics, the rudder, vanished tiller
and the outboard are stored indoors.
